The 17th annual Event of the Tobago Game Fishing Tournament ended this Sunday with a fantastic day of Fishing. A fleet of 67 Boats registered for this year’s event with a record breaking 50 Boats in the Local (Pirogue) Division.

Several species of fish were brought to the scale by the Local boats with the Largest as follow:

Eldon Williams made history on board Miss P from Castara with two billfish releases and capturing the Grand Prize of the Local Division – 23ft Pirogue built by Ricardo Alleyne of Roxborough  with 40hp Tohatsu outboard Engine, and lots more.

The International Division also had a good showing at the scale with the following Largest of the Species:

The Magic Lady team also captured the Grand Prize in the International Division which consisted of a team invitation to IGFA World Championship, Dinghy with Tohatsu Outboard- Rods and Reels, Go pro Camera, Costa Del Mar Shades and lots more….

 The total weight brought to scale was 2576.1 pounds.

Total releases of Billfish was 2 White Marlins, 21 Blue Marlins and 2 Sailfish.
